What a wonderful post. The Proverbs verse has always been one of my favorites. It was read when each one of my boys was dedicated as babies so it has always held a special place in my heart. It just makes me smile and feel so wonderful when I hear my kiddos talking about God. I teach in a public school as well, but our very small community is like a big family of God's children. Our student council even did a skit of the nativity story at our Christmas program last year and my kiddos sang Silent night in English then Spanish. It was so wonderful to be able to share the message of Christ even though it was a school program. Thanks so much for writing from your heart! It is a wonderful thing to hear the children talk about their faith while we are in class. I love it when I hear a child defend their faith when another doesn't believe in God. I too, find it a blessing when they break out in Sunday School Songs. Being a public school teacher allows me to smile and when asked if I believe, I say yes!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605176878036810419.post-78088786783350450102015-01-19T20:11:39.604-05:002015-01-19T20:11:39.604-05:00This is beautifully written. I can't really think of anything to respond as a public school teacher.) However, my third graders, too, will talk about God sometimes, and I love it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
