I was going to wait until my Friday post- but thought that since Fire Safety Week is coming up, and I was looking for Fire Safety ideas, YOU may be looking for Fire Safety ideas, too.

Sweet Kinderland shared two Emergent Readers that focus on different sight words.

Dr. T Language and Literacy Joan have a neat Firefighters Pete and Dave are Brave freebie. The children can draw picture to go with the story or sentence on the page. It would be a good listening activity for the kids.

I hope you found some great activities to use! I always think that if one child somewhere learns something about fire safety and is safe from harm because of it, what a blessing that is. We will never know or be able to measure the benefits of reinforcing fire safety!
